Christmas Portfolio Wrap-Up

Back in October 1st, 2007 I sat down with some friends and we talked about what would happen if you invested in foreign country stocks during a holiday. A lot of people thought that nothing would happen, however a few thought that we would face declining stock prices but not declining book values.

In this article I’m going to go over the Christmas Portfolio that we started last quarter. We will look at our initial investment, where it was in just one month and where it finally ended up at the end of Q4-2007 (Dec).

It’s a new era of computer blogging these days. I remember just a few short years ago when the hype was to be running a guestbook and have all your friends comment on it. Now we have mainstreaming of programming languages like PHP and MySQL, making it very easy to manage the content on our webservers. There are packages like Wordpress, and PHPBB that create entire communities from a copy of a script that anyone can download.

Wow

It’s amazing just how much the price of a stock and shift during the holidays. A lot of people are asking me about the MNTY stock I was (and still am) raving about. Seriously, people, it’s a long-term investment. Don’t let a few days of downs bring you right underneath it! You have to buy the shares and put them away for a later date. Give it a year. Watch.

I’m really glad to be back home, especially away from work because it gives me the chance to update this site more and more. I’ve just finished my complete review of the iPhone versus the Voyager, however it still stands somewhat un-done due to my limited exposure to Verizon’s new baby. I’ll do my research, though, and update accordingly. You all just hang in there!

Exciting news thought to have vanished recently was verified when ECarfly [[ECFL.PK]] changed its ticker symbol to MNTY and closed today at $0.0032, doubling its estimates from popular investment boards such as investorhub.advfn.com.
