Airing Out the MacBook Air

Steve Jobs is perhaps one of the greatest masters of the understatement. Using no fanfare and just a few pauses for dramatic effect, Jobs walked over to a table, picked up a manila envelope and extracted what Apple claims is the slimmest laptop on the planet. The MacBook Air has been nothing short of a hype magnet ever since its release on January 15, 2008. Does the MacBook Air deserve to be the next (figuratively) big thing, or will it be an easily forgotten Apple device – here today, version 2 tomorrow?

The New Sony Cyber-Shot Cameras

Last year I bought a Canon A720is. I think of it as a crossover camera that moves me on from being in the typical point-and-click crowd to mucking around with various settings in order to get the most out of my pictures. It’s a nice little camera, but when I saw that Sony is releasing their next Cyber-Shot range this year I couldn’t help but wonder if I am going to miss out on any must-have features.
